Qualifications for applying

  • Students from nationality of a country in the DAC List of ODA Recipients
  • Students experiencing financial difficulties for study
  • Students who have proven academic excellence
    ** At least TOPIK Level 3 required for all applicants
  • Students who are willing to join volunteer activities and social contribution
  • Students who are willing to join activities hosted by the foundation

How to Apply

  • Applicants should be recommended by our partnering universities, which are followed. Only students who have been admitted or are currently enrolled can get recommendations from each university.

Contents of support

  • Undergraduate level: KRW 3,900,000 per semester
  • Graduate level: KRW 3,500,000 or KRW 5,000,000 per semester

Period of support

  • Undergraduate: maximum 8 academic semesters
  • Master course: maximum 4 academic semesters
  • Doctoral course: maximum 6 academic semesters
  • Combined Master's and Doctorate: maximum 8 academic semesters
    * Extra semesters are not supported
