This program supports education programs to aid students of the Korean diaspora and students in developing countries studying in their respective countries. Additionally, this program aids international students from developing countries who are studying in South Korea.

Global Hope Scholarship Program

  • Global Hope Scholarship: Supports international students from developing countries in becoming future leaders who can contribute to society.
  • Networking Programs: Supports extracurricular club activities for Global Hope Scholarship students in developing their leadership skills and engaging in self-improvement.

Global Educational Support Program

  • Global Dream Library Project: Fosters language comprehension and expressive skills to support the lifelong education of children and adolescents through the establishment of a library and reading (literacy) education programs. Furthermore, this project fosters a sense of community among children and adolescents through various cooperation and service experiences. Through the established library, this project also contributes to the development of local education and culture.
  • Global Education Community Project: Supports educational projects that consider the needs of local children and adolescents, such as basic education, after-school education, and vocational education. This project also supports the capacity building of educational communities surrounding children and adolescents.

Mentoring Scholarship Program

This program supports middle and high school students from underprivileged backgrounds with dreams and potentials in various fields by providing them with scholarship grants through the foundation's mentoring system. This program is restricted to students currently living and studying in South Korea, regardless of nationality.

Dream Scholarship

This scholarship supports middle and high school students in finding and developing their dreams. Students receive scholarship grants through the foundation's mentoring system.

SOS Scholarship

This scholarship supports high school students facing unexpected economic hardships or having difficulty adjusting to school. Students receive scholarship grants through the foundation's mentoring system.

Leader Creation Scholarship Program

This program supports outstanding South Korean undergraduate and graduate students in South Korea who have shown their development through the Mentoring Scholarship Program and have proven their academic competence. This program provides customized scholarships and educational programs to aid the development of students' talents and to help them become future leaders in their respective fields.

University Hope Scholarship

This program is for undergraduate and graduate students who have proven their effort and potential by producing concrete academic results. The foundation supports them in becoming future leaders by providing customized scholarships and educational programs.

Hope Development Scholarship

This scholarship is given to support the career and personal development of University Hope Scholarship scholars who seek to take another step forward and to take on new challenges in various fields.

Hope Volunteer Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to provide University Hope Scholarship scholars with the chance to reciprocate to society what they have received from society.


Volunteer Activities in South Korea

Scholars are given the opportunity to build up their communal spirit and to participate in various volunteer activities. Participating scholars are provided financial aid in return for volunteering to help educationally disadvantaged children and teenagers.


International Volunteer Activities

Scholars are given the opportunity to build their competence as global leaders by volunteering at international learning centers supported by the foundation's Global Scholarship Program.

Educational Support Program

This program supports local education welfare programs in South Korea in providing relevant, high-quality education for students who need educational support due to regional, social, and financial issues.

Local Educational Welfare Program

  • Individual Project: This project supports educational programs from individual learning centers for children and teenagers who live in places with relatively little educational support.
  • Joint Project: This project supports three or more cooperating learning centers in providing educational support for children and teenagers who live in places with relatively little educational support.
  • Networking Project: Local private and public organizations, schools and other various educational welfare subjects cooperate to create a specialized local educational welfare service model and educational safety network.

Professional Educational Welfare Programs

  • Science·IT / Basic Learning Competencies / Youth Project / Sports: These programs support the development and operation of outstanding educational programs in various fields, including the sciences, IT, teenager culture, soccer, and multicultural education.
  • Scholarship for Educators: This program supports the growth of both scholars and teachers through various camps and scholarship grants.
